Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

Pregnancy is a uniquely tender time. There’s a lot to sort through: new feelings, changing routines, and decisions you’ve never had to make before. Some days feel smooth and exciting; others feel overwhelming or uncertain. As birth approaches, the questions often build and having someone to turn to becomes more important.

Many expectant parents share that they want calm, attentive support — real listening, clear explanations, and help feeling prepared, without pressure or judgment.

That’s where my work begins:

with steady guidance, open communication, and support that adapts to you.

Why many families

choose a doula

No matter their birth plan or setting, parents tend to look for the same things:

  • answers to questions that appear along the way

  • information that brings clarity to important decisions

  • support that goes beyond rushed appointments or internet searches

  • continuity — one person who stays through the whole experience

  • guidance for partners so they can show up with confidence

  • practical care that softens the early postpartum days

A doula doesn’t replace anyone. She’s an added layer of support, bringing steadiness, information, and a familiar presence during the moments when you need reassurance and clarity most.

Many families reflect later:

We truly appreciated having the same person with us throughout the entire birth.

And that steady presence is exactly what makes all the difference.

What makes my support different

My approach blends training with lived experience; it stays flexible and centered on what works for you.

  • I stay steady, organized, and present, even when a lot is happening.

  • People have always opened up to me easily — as a babysitter, teacher, and coach.
That continues in my doula work.

  • I take responsibility where needed, but your choices always stay yours.

  • I help you navigate choices with confidence and communicate what matters to you — clearly and respectfully.

  • I help partners understand how they can support you and what’s helpful throughout the process.

  • My communication and materials are simple, thoughtful, and uncluttered.
No fluff, no “woo” — just clear, grounded support.

  • I combine facts with your intuition and help you stay informed, so you can advocate for yourself with clarity and calm.

My care is a good

  • want to feel informed and prepared

  • appreciate calm, steady guidance

  • value clarity over opinions

  • want someone who listens closely and holds space without judgment

About me

Hi, I’m Elisabeth but most people call me Elli, and you’re welcome to do the same!

I’m originally from Austria and moved to the States in 2024 to be with my now-husband. I’m also a proud dog mom to Cora, our sweet shelter pup whose endless energy regularly has me questioning my own. She brings joy and just the right amount of chaos into my world, and I like to think both have made me a more patient and present human.

My path to doula work is a little different from most. While many doulas are called to this work after their own birth experiences, my journey began with recurrent miscarriage. Walking through that grief shaped me deeply and taught me about resilience, the importance of gentle support, and the power of having someone beside you who truly listens. Turning that experience into something meaningful, something that could empower others, is what brought me here.

I’ve always been someone who cares deeply. I’m the person who checks in after important appointments, remembers your milestones, and reaches out just because you crossed my mind. I’ll bring you something warm or homemade when you need comfort, offer you tea before you ask for it, and give you space when that’s what feels right. Nurturing people is just part of who I am.

As your doula, I want to be the calm in the middle of the overwhelm. I listen closely. I explain things clearly. I help you understand your rights and your options. I’m here to help you make choices that feel right for you, not to push any particular philosophy. And I’ll gently remind you that your intuition matters more than anyone else’s opinion.

My approach is simple: mother the mother without taking over. Support you without steering you. Help you feel grounded, informed, and truly cared for.

Your birth is your experience.
I’m here to support you —
with clarity, care, and a steady presence.
